I am excited to announce that I am off to represent the USA in the First FAI World Paramotor Slalom Championships in Aerodrome du Chevalet, France. The competition is being held from September 9th – 15th and I will return to the states on the 17th. It’s an honor to be part of this first time competition and I am proud to be representing the United States! I will try to keep you updated throughout the competition if I can get online. Normally I try to fly/practice as much as possible before a competition, but because of the horrible winds in Phoenix prior to the Fly-In, I didn’t get to practice or even fly much. I did most of my flying a few days before and then the evening before. I had been planning on flying my 22m Nirvana Hadron, but then I thought I might try the new 20m Nirvana Nucleon WRC which I had just gotten in. I wasn’t sure if it was such a good idea to switch wings the day before! 
On December 7th, Ryan and one of his students, Deanna set the World Record for the Tandem Time to Climb to 3,000m
and also broke the existing Tandem altitude World Record by almost 5,000ft! They flew the Nirvana Instinct NS 230 and an Apco Play 42MKII for both World Records
